Easyjet celebrates ten years at Liverpool John Lennon Airport
The carrier's first route from the Merseyside hub took off on October 27, 1997 - two years after easyJet was originally established. Now Easyjet has eight aircraft based at the airport and flies 2.5 million passengers on 19 different European routes ever year.
Celebrations will go on at Liverpool Airport all this week, including competitions, parties and champagne for passengers.
