Special Olympics Games team arrive back at Edinburgh Arport
Athletes from the Capital and West Lothian who took part in the Special Olympic Games games in China were given a rousing welcome when they returned to Edinburgh Airport from Shanghai earlier this week.
The games featured more than 10,000 athletes and coaches from 170 countries, competing in more than 20 different sports. The team from Great Britain won an incredible 224 medals which included golds won by Edinburgh's David Fergus in the aquatics, and those won by Andrew Brown, Kenneth Bryson, William Clark, David Dodds, and Richard Hendry from Westfield, West Lothian, in the football squad.
