New passenger facilities at Isle of Man Airport
The Isle of Man Airport has opened a new departure lounge featuring a glazed walkway and improved seating, allowing the airport to handle around 1.25 million passengers a year.
In October the airport also put forward plans to create a new terminal building for private jet owners and VIPs. The proposed new terminal will be a two-storey building featuring floor-to-ceiling glass panels, with a VIP lounge and conference centre and private-parking. If planning permission is granted it would see the £4 million development open by the end of next year.
