Thomsonfly cuts flights at Doncaster Airport

Thomsonfly are Robin Hood Airport's main operator and they have decided to cut flights from Doncaster to some of Europe's biggest cities, scrapping its daily flights to Amsterdam with services to Prague and Jersey also due to be dropped in the coming months.

The news comes as Robin Hood Airport celebrated an 18.9% per cent rise in passenger numbers for October 2007 compared to the same time last year.

The loss of more Thomsonfly flights to major European destinations (Paris was also dropped earlier this year) has caused serious concern for the area's business managers.
