Birmingham Airport Taxis

Normally there are plenty of Black Cabs at the official taxi rank which is immediately outside the passenger terminals. Black Cabs carry up to 5 people (some may takea 6) with luggage. They can take wheelchairs and operate a 24 hour service.

Black Cabs is the only company at the airport that is licensed to operate without prior bookings. You can pre-book a Black Cab on 0044(0)121 782 3744

The journey to Birmingham City Centre will cost you about £18.00. For other journeys agree a price before you start your journey. There is a price guide displayed at the taxi rank. Black Cabs also accept major credit cards and can provide a receipt.

Note that the Black Cabs may charge you extra for additional items of luggage or additional passengers. If you do have a lot of items it is worth checking if they are going to charge you extra.

There is a comprehensive range of taxis available but as stated above the Black Cabs are the only ones you can take without pre-booking.
