Blackpool Airport Departures

The £2m refurbishment of the passenger terminal means that Blackpool Airport now has some excellent facilities and services.

With the capacity to handle two million passengers a year and 14 check-in desks and extra baggage reclaim facilities, passengers can pass through quickly and conveniently.

The facilities include a 14-desk check-in concourse, a Meeting and Arrivals area, Horizons café and Bar Icon facilities as well as a Tourist and Information Centre.

There is also a new open plan Departure Lounge with seating for up to 600 passengers where you will find a new boutique for tax and duty free shopping, restaurant and bar plus business and conference facilities.

There is also an Executive Lounge which offers a wide range of complimentary snacks and refreshments, comfortable seating and internet access.
