Passenger Services at Cardiff Airport

Cardiff airport passenger services informationThe Tourist Information Centre can be found in the arrivals hall and has information about events and attractions in Cardiff and the surrounding area.

Public phone boxes can be found in the arrivals hall and on the first floor and in the departure lounge in the main terminal building.

A post box is situated immediately outside the terminal building. Stamps are available from the WH Smith shop on the first floor of the terminal building before going through security.

Cardiff International Airport is a strictly no smoking building.

Children's Facilities at Cardiff Airport

Cardiff airport children's servicesThere is a play centre in the Departures Lounge which is sponsored by Smyths Toys. There is a range of toys  for children aged between 2-8 years.   Children must be supervised at all times by an adult.

Baby care rooms changing tables provide privacy for passengers travelling with young babies. They are available at all times and located on the first floor of departure lounge and in the arrivals hall.

Baby milk is available to buy and facilities for warming baby food can be found in the Food Village before security and in the departure lounge.

Money Changing Facilities at Cardiff Airport

Cardiff airport ATMs and currency exchangeChange Group Bureaux de Change are situated on the first floor of the terminal and in the Departures Lounge.

There is also a Change Group desk in the baggage reclaim hall for inbound passengers.

An ATM cash machine is located on the first floor of the terminal building.

Disabled Facilities at Cardiff Airport

Cardiff airport disability services A special assistance reception desk located in the check-in hall and the terminal building is wheelchair friendly with lifts to all floors.  The car park has dedicated parking. 

There are specially designated toilets on the first floor, departure lounge and arrivals hall

A special assistance waiting area in the departure lounge is available with low level courtesy phone, flight information screen and induction loop

If you require to use the ambulift to help you onto the aircraft then you will need to confirm this when you book your flight/holiday and again mention this when you check in.

For those who are hard of hearing minicom facilities are available at the Information Desk. There are induction loops at check-in and other areas 

Reduced height telephones are available throughout the terminal.

Guide dogs are allowed into the terminal building.

Internet Facilities at Cardiff Airport

Cardiff airport internet and wifiThere is wireless facility in the Executive Lounge in the Departures Lounge area once you are through security. 

Cardiff Airport offers wireless internet access throughout the terminal, but users must subscribe online to BT Openzone wireless internet access before travelling to the airport.

Business & VIP Lounge at Cardiff Airport

Cardiff airport internet and wifiCardiff Airport has an Executive Lounge which costs £18.00 per person and entitles you to: alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks, complementary snacks, newspapers & magazines, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (BT Openzone), telephone, fax & photocopier facilities, access to private washrooms and flight information before other passengers 

It is open daily from 0:500 until 21:00 with the exception of Saturdays between November and April when it closes at 17:00. The Lounge is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day

A smart-casual dress code is in place and children under the age of 12 are not permitted to enter the Lounge. Special Assistance facilities are also available

Pets Travelling from Cardiff Airport

Cardiff airport flying petsOnly guide dogs are allowed in the terminal building.

If you wish to travel with your pet then you will need to contact your airline. 
If you wish to fly your pet in or out of the UK, then you will need to check that your pet has the correct vaccinations and passport. If your pet qualifies then it will remove the need for them to spend six months in quarantine.

A service operates from the airport in Building number 300 based in the World Freight Terminal.  This is the Pet Travel Scheme (PETS) and is run by Pets On Jets.
