The fare from Cardiff Airport to Cardiff City centre is around £26 and Checker Cars operate a fixed fare system which is the same 24 hours a day. The journey time is between 20-30 minutes depending on the time of day and traffic.
Cardiff Taxis
All taxis in Cardiff have roof top signs and equipped with a meter where the tariff is set by the Council. Taxis can be caught at designated stands or hailed in the street.
Fares beyond Cardiff boundaries are not regulated and therefore subject to negotiation.
Private hire vehicles do not have a roof sign and must be pre-booked. They cannot be hailed in the street or picked up at a stand. The fares for private hire vehicles are not controlled by the Council.
