Doncaster Airport Buses

There are good bus connections between the airport, Doncaster city centre and Doncaster Railway Station.  Buses from the city centre bus station are available to York, Scunthorpe and London Victoria as well as all local destinations.

National Express operates a service out of Doncaster bus station.  There are direct services to London Victoria, Scunthorpe and York.   Check their website for onward destinations.

First Bus 91 to Doncaster & Finningley Village:

Route: Finningley Village - Blaxton - Airport (Stand 1) - Auckley - Branton - Cantley - Belle Vue - Doncaster Interchange.

Timings: Leave Bus Stop 1 heading for Doncaster Mon-Fri every 20-30 mins 0655-2130. Saturdays: every 30 mins or so 0728-2130. No Sunday service. Buses leave the airport heading for Finningley Mon-Sat at 1845, 1945 & 2105. No Sunday Service.

First Bus 191 to Doncaster & Finningley Village:

Route: Finningley Village - Blaxton - Airport (Stand 1) - Auckley - Branton - Cantley - Belle Vue - Doncaster Interchange.

Timings: Leave Bus Stop 1 heading for Doncaster Mon-Fri every 20-30 mins 0637-1707 then every 60 mins until 2312. Saturdays: every 30 mins or so 0707-1707 then every ~60 mins until 2312. Sundays: Hourly 0938-2238. Buses leave the airport heading for Finningley Mon-Sat every 30-60 mins 0720-2254. Saturdays every 30-60 mins 0750-2254. Sundays hourly 1019-2319

First Bus 391 to Doncaster & Epworth:

Route: Epworth - Low Burnham - Haxey - Westwoodside - Blaxton - Airport (Stand 1) - Auckley - Branton - Cantley - Belle Vue - Doncaster Interchange.

Timings: Leave Bus Stop 1 for Doncaster Mon-Fri at 0745 ONLY. Saturdays: at 0758 only. No Sunday Service.

Route: Airport  (Stand 3) - Auckley - Branton (3 Horseshoes) - Old Cantley - Armthorpe - Old Cantley - West Moor Park - Dunsville - Dunscroft - Broadway PO - Stainforth Hatfield (train station) - Stainforth - Thorne (Market Place & South Train station) - Moorends (Marshland Road).

Timings: Bus Stop 3 at the airport Mon-Sat only at 0800, 1000, 1300, 1500, 1700 & 1900 (not on Saturday). Buses leave Moorends Mon-sat only at 0600 (not on Saturdays), 0700, 0900, 1100, 1400, 1600, 1800 & 2000 (not Saturdays). Takes 55 mins to Moorends. No Sunday Service.

Route: A pre-booked service only that runs on a similar route to the 230 above. Tel 01302 72727 to book a seat.

Timings: Mon-Sat only as arranged. Departure times from the airport are normally fixed at 0610, 1915, 2030, 21345 & 2300.

Route: Airport (Stand 3) - Auckley - Cantley - Doncaster Leisure Park - Lakeside Village - Balby - Warmsworth - Conisborough - Conanby - Mexborough Bus Station.

Timings: Bus Stop 3 at the airport Mon-Sat hourly 0704-2204. Sundays: hourly 1004-1704. Buses leave Mexborough Mon-Sat hourly 0604-2104. Sundays hourly 0904-1604. Takes 55 mins to Mexborough. Cost: To Mexborough £2.50, Warmsworth £1.50.

The bus is bright green, so you can´t miss it, and you just you just buy a ticket from the driver when you get on the bus.

Route: Robin Hood Airport (Stand 2) - Hayfield Lane - Bawtry Road - Cantley - Bessacarr - Bawtry Road/The Dome - Belle Vue - Doncaster Interchange.

Timings: Mon-Sat: leaves the airport hourly 0605-2305. Leaves Doncaster Interchange hourly 0535-2235. Sundays: leaves the airport at 0905, 1005, 1105, 1205, 1405, 1505, 1605, 1705 & 1805. Leaves the train station hourly 0835-1735, except that no service runs at 1335. Takes 25 mins. Cost: Adult: £5 one way, £7 return. Child: £3/£5. Euros accepted.

Travels along the same route as the 707 bus above, and then Bentley - Scawsby - Marr - Hickleton - Goldthorpe - Highgate - Billingley - Darfield - Ardsley - Stairfoot - Barnsley Interchange.

Timings: Leaves the airport Mon-Sat at 0625, 0725, 0825, 0935 then every hour until 2135. Takes 75 mins to Barnsley. No Sunday Service.
