Durham Tees Valley Airport Trains.There is no train station or link at the airport.  However, the 737 airport bus connects to  Darlington Train Station where you can make connections to other parts of the country.

Darlington Railway Station The world’s first railway was the Stockton & Darlington railway in 1825. It passed through North Road Station in Darlington, which has been restored as the Railway Centre & Museum dedicated to the local railway heritage, history, and the people who worked on the railways and built trains in Darlington’s works. The museum’s collection include Locomotion No.1 which ran on the first railway, and the steam locomotive Derwent which was built on the Darlington site. Other collections include railway and station signage, uniforms and paintings. The museum is open from 10:00 to 17:00 every day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
