Edinburgh Airport Flight Departures
There is one terminal building at the airport making it easy to find your way around. The building is split on to two floors. The check-in desks are immediately in front of you when you enter the building and the departure gates are on the first floor.
The check in times are as follows:
International and European - at least 2 hours prior to travel
El-Al Passengers must check in 3.5 hours prior to travel
Domestic (UK) flights check in at least 1 hour prior to travel

There is a good range of shops and eating and drinking outlets both before security and after in the Departures Lounge and also one café in the International Arrivals area.
Internet Access is available both before and alter security in the Terminal Building, payable by credit card, £ or € coins. Wireless internet is available throughout the airport if your laptop is wireless compatible.
The check-in area also has a left Baggage desk which is open every day from 05:15 to 22:45. Charges apply depending on what the item is and how long you wish to store it from. Edinburgh Airport Business Lounges
There are three Business Lounges in the Departures Lounge area, operated by Servisair, BMI and British Airways.All lounges are comfortable and offer the usual complimentary drinks, snacks, internet, telephone, fax facilities etc. TV, newspapers.
The Servisair Lounge is situated in the departure lounge after security. The lounge can be used by showing your boarding card. Prices are from £15 to around £18 per person per visit. You can pay on arrival but it is preferable to book in advance to guarantee entry during busy times and it will be cheaper .Smoking is not permitted and children are not allowed.
Opening times are 05:30 to 20:30 Monday to Friday and 05:30 to 18:00 at weekends.

The BMI Diamond Club Lounge is for use by diamond club gold and silver card members, Star Alliance gold card members and Bmi or Bmibaby passengers travelling business class or full fare economy ticket only. You cannot just turn up and pay on the door to use this lounge.
Opening times are 05:30 to 20.39 Monday to Friday and 05:30 to 18:00 at weekends.

The British Airways Executive Club Lounge is for al Silver and gold British Airways Executive Club members, Club Europe and those with a fully flexible domestic ticket. Silver and Gold Executive Club members can also be accompanied by one guest, if capacity allows this.
Opening times are 06:00 to 21:30 every day. You cannot just turn up and pay to use this lounge. Contact www.britishairways.com
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the terminal building and must be strictly adhered to as there is a penalty fine of £50.
