Edinburgh Airport General Information
The terminal building is strictly a non-smoking area. Failure to adhere to this could cost you a £50 fine.
The Information and Tourist Information desk is in the International Arrivals Area on the ground floor.
There are plenty of toilets throughout the terminal building which are suitable for disabled and wheelchair access. Also with baby changing facilities.
Public telephones are sitúated throughout the airport and well signposted.
Children's Facilities at Edinburgh Airport
There are plenty of baby changing facilities within the airport terminal building which are well sign-posted - befote security, alter security and in the internacional baggage reclaim area.
There are Fingerbox play areas near gates 2, 4, 9 and 11 and also childrens´entertainment on the first floor at Food Village in the family area.
Disabled Facilities at Edinburgh Airport
For those needing assistance there is a new Helping Hand Service operating at the airport by Servisair. They can offer help on your arrival at the airport and again on your return arrival. For full details see our useful information web page or contact www.helpinghand@servisair.com
For disabled parking there are a number of spaces in both long and short stay car parks. If you require this parking it is adviseed that you contact the airport in advance if you are going to require assistance or transport from the car park to the terminal building.
Lifts are available to the first floor.
Internet Facilities at Edinburgh Airport
Internet Access is available both before and after security in the Terminal Building, payable by credit card, £ or € coins. Wireless internet is available throughout the airport if your laptop is wireless compatible. Internet is also bailable in the Executive/Business Lounge located in the Departures Lounge after security.
Medical Facilities at Edinburgh Airport
There is no dedícated first aid room in the terminal building. If you require assistance contact a member of staff or the Information Desk.
Money Changing Facilities at Edinburgh Airport
There are ATM cash dispensers in the departures area both befote security and alter security.
Also, money exchange (several outlets) are available both in the departures area (check in) and in the International arrivals area.

Pet Travel at Edinburgh Airport
If you wish to fly your pet in or out of the UK, then you will need to check that your pet has the correct vaccinations and passport and which airline with transport your pet.
A service operates from the airport in Building number 300 based in the World Freight Terminal. This is the Pet Travel Scheme (PETS) and is run by Pets On Jets.
If your pet qualifies then it will remove the need for them to spend six months in quarantine.
