Glasgow International Airport Buses

There is a good bus service from the airport (the front of the terminal building), including the City Centre and both Railway Stations (Central and Queen Street) and the bus station.

The No. 905 bus departs from bus stop 3 and operates a regular service to the City Centre and Railway and Bus Station. 

Route: Airport - Bothwell St/Douglas St - Bothwell St/Wellington St - West George St/Hope St - W George St at Queen St Train Station - N Hanover St - Buchanan St Bus station. On the way back to the airport the route is Buchanan St Bus Station - N Hanover St/George St - South side of George Square outside the tourist information office - St Vincent St/Buchanan St - St Vincent St/Renfield St - Waterloo St - Airport. All bus stops are marked with an aeroplane logo.

Timings: Monday to Saturday 05:40 then every 10 mins until 06:00, then every 7 mins to 20:30, then every 15 mins until 23:00, 23:30, 00:00, 00:30: Sunday 07:00then every 15 mins until 09:30, then every 10 mins until 19:00. every 15 mins until 20:30 and every 30 mins until 00:00, 00:30

It will take approximately 25 minutes to the City Centre.  A single fare is £3.50 and £5.30 return

Airbus Express to Glasgow City Centre departs from bus stop 4.

Route: Airport - Bothwell St - West George St - Buchanan St Bus Station - George Square - Waterloo St - Airport.

Timings: Leaves the airport Mon-Fri at 05:50, 06:25, 07:09, 07:35 then every 20-30 mins until 23:50. Saturdays: 05:50, 06:25, 07:13 then every 20-30 mins until 23:20. Sundays: 06:25, 07:13 then every 20-30 mins until 23:20.

Cost: Adult single £3.30, child £1.75. Adult return £5, child return £2. Euros accepted.

Arriva 60 Bus runs from bus stop 1 to Inchinnan Rd - Love St - Paisley Train Station - Royal Alexandra Hospital - Foxbar (Heriot Avenue).

Timings: Buses leave the airport Mon-Fri every 10-20 mins 05:50-18:45, 19:25, 19:45, 20:25, 20:45 & 21:45. Saturdays every 15-30 mins 06:23-20:45 & 21:45. Sundays at 06:21, 07:26 then every hour until 11:56 then every 30 mins until 18:26.

Cost: Adult £0.80-1.90 depending on distance, child half price.

Arriva Bus 6 from bus stop 5 to Bridge of Weir & Braehead via Renfrew - Airport - Linwood - Bridge of Weir.

Timings: Buses leave the airport in both directions Mon-Sat only every 30-60 mins 08:40-21:00.

Cost: Adult £1.40, child half price.

Scottish Citylink Bus 915 to Skye: Airport - Dumbarton - Luss - Tarbet - Ardlui - Crianlarich - Tyndrum - Bridge of Orchy - White Corries Ski Centre at Glencoe - Ballachulish - Onich - Corran - Fort William - Spean Bridge - Invergary - Dornie - Kyle of Lochalsh - Kyleakin - Broadford - Sconser - Sligachan - Portree (Not all buses stop at every destinationn).

Most of tyher buses depart from Buchanan Bus Station in the city centre, but there is one departure at 15:20 directly from the airport, dropping off there again at 14:05 on its way back from Skye.

Cost: To Luss £9.50, Glencoe £19.20, Fort William £22.10, Portree £36.
