Glasgow International Airport Information

Glasgow International Airport useful informationThe Information desk is located in the main terminal building just opposite the check-in desks. Greater Glasgow Tourist Board has a desk in International Arrivals for all onward travel and local information.

The terminal buildings are a strictly no smoking area.  You will be liable to a fine of GBP50 if you are caught smoking within the airport.  There is a desígnated smoking area outside at the entrance to domestic arrivals.

Children's Facilities at Glasgow International Airport

International Departures, Gate 50 has a play area and there is another in the main concourse next to Game Grid.  These areas are not supervised.

Toilet facilities, including disabled access and baby changing facilities are available within the airport. There are four baby changing rooms available at Glasgow Airport.  Before security, there is one on the first floor by Starbucks Cafe.  After security there is one in the international departure lounge beside Drum and Monkey and Bargo, and one on the International Departures Pier adjacent to Gate 29.  There is also a baby change room in the International baggage reclaim hall for arriving passengers.  In addition most toilets throughout the terminal have wall mounted baby changing units.

Note that there are no disabled toilets or baby changing facilities in the toilets on the second floor of the main terminal building.

Within the airport there are up to date facilities to make travelling for those with especial needs comfortable and hassle free.

There are two seating areas with space for wheelchair users and a help phone, low level information screens, induction and mini loops.

Internet Facilities at Glasgow International Airport

There are fixed terminals located in Starbucks Café Bar in UK Arrivals and also Spectrum Interactive.  There is also Wi-Fi available throughout the airport if you have a laptop that is wireless activated.

If you require business facilities and do not wish to use the Executive Lounge there is a work station near Gate 1 in the main concourse with payphone, modem and payfax facilities.

Servisair Executive Lounge is on the second floor of the terminal building. The lounge is comfortable and offers all the same facilities as the Skylounge and is open to all with a boarding card.

Medical Facilities at Glasgow International Airport

There is no dedicated First Aid Room at the airport, if you require assistance contact the Information Desk or a member of staff.

Money Changing Facilities at Glasgow International Airport

In the International Departures Lounge there is Dixon's Tax Free and American Express.  In the public concourse there is Travelex, American Express Bureau de Change.

Cash dispensers are located on the main concourse next to  Boots the Chemist.
