Glasgow International Airport Taxis

Taxis at Glasgow International Airport are managed  by Cabfly and operate 24 hours a day.  The taxi rank is situated at the front of the terminal building close to Arrivals.

The fare to Paisley is £5 and Glasgow City Centre is around £18-20 and takes anything between 15 to 30 minutes depending on the traffic.  Expect to pay a little more for the trip back to the airport.  All taxi drivers have to use the meter for the entire journey.

Only designated taxi companies are able to pick up from the front of the terminal building.  These include Renfrewshire Council licensed taxis and members of Glasgow Taxis Ltd who are permitted to make pre-arranged pick ups from the front of the terminal.  Private hire taxis must collect passengers from designated pick-up points in Car Parks 1 and 3.

The drop off point for all taxis is on St Andrews Drive, a short distance from the terminal building.

The Glasgow taxis have fold-down ramp to provide ease of entry for wheelchair users and a securing facility holds chairs in place throughout the journey. Anyone with moderate walking difficulties can make use of the intermediate step and swivel-out seat at the nearside passenger door. Movement inside the passenger compartment is made easier by easy-grip grab handles and for hearing-aid users an induction loop is incorporated in the intercom system of the TX2 taxis.
