Humberside Airport Trains

There is no station or connection at the airport.  However, Barnetby Railway Station is approximately 3 miles from the airport.  From here you can make a connection to Doncaster which is situated on the East Coast Main Line.

Train operators which call at Doncaster include GNER, Northern Rail, Virgin Trains, TransPennine Express, East Midlands Trains, Hull Trains and Midland Mainline. There are also plans for a route from to London King's Cross, although this has yet to be finalised.

GNER offer regular direct trains services to London, which can be reached in 85 - 100 minutes. Midland Mainline offer a direct service to London St Pancras but this is less frequent than the GNER service.. GNER also offers services to Leeds, York, Durham, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Virgin trains also offers similar services to the North, but offers a more larger network to the south, calling at Sheffield, Derby, Birmingham, Bristol, Paignton in Devon and Penzance in Cornwall.

Northern Rail offers services from Doncaster to stations within Yorkshire and Lincolnshire providing stopper services at every station along-route, and 'fast' services, stopping at just the principal stations.

TransPennine Express serve stations from Doncaster to Cleethorpes, Manchester Airport and Manchester Piccadilly. First TransPennine services operate hourly in each direction.

Barnetby railway station is unstaffed and serves the village of Barnetby le Wold in north Lincolnshire. The station area still uses semaphore signals and is used by the Transpennine Express with Central Trains and Northern Rail also serving the station.
