Buses at Isle of Man Airport

The Manx bus service covers all of the island. The main bus depots are located in Peel, Ramsey and Douglas. However, you can get a bus to some of the more remote parts of the island. Tickets can be bought on the bus or from travel shops/tourist offices.
Isle of Man Airport Bus Routes
The bus stop is in front of the terminal. Exit at the main entrance and turn left.
From the airport use the Route 1 to get into the centre of town.
Route: Douglas (Lord Street), to Groves Road, Newtown Chapel, Ballasalla Railway Station and then to the airport (Ronaldsway). The travelling time is approximately 20 minutes.
Timings: Departs the airport: Mon-Sat: 0713, 0743, 0808, 0858, 0928, 0958, 1028, 1058, 1128, 1158, 1228, 1258, 1328, 1358, 1428, 1458, 1528, 1558, 1633, 1658, 1733 1803, 1859, 1959, 2109, 2209 & 2309. Sundays: 0754, 1009, 1109, 1209, 1309, 1409, 1454, 1509, 1609, 1639, 1709, 1809 1959 & 2209.
Cost: £1.80 (child 5-15 years 90p). No charge for luggage.
Bus #8 to Peel via Foxdale:
Route: Airport - Ballasalla Station (3 mins) - Silverdale Glen (8 mins) - Higher Foxdale (18 mins) - Ballacraine Corner (25 mins) - St. Johns, Tynwald Hill (26 mins) - Peel, Derby Road (33 mins).
Timings: Buses depart the airport Mon-Sat 0936, 1216 & 1556. No Sunday Service.

Tickets can be bought from the driver of the bus. If you buy a return it must be used on the day you buy it.
You can also buy Island Explorer tickets which you can use on the horse trams, electric trams, buses and the steam railway. The prices are detailed below:
