There are plenty of public toilets throughout both terminals, including those for disabled, wheelchair access and baby changing facilities.

Showers are available in the arrivals area of both terminal buildings.  You can also hire soap and towels.  Follow the shower head symbols or contact the Information Desk in the arrivals' areas for directions.

Public telephones, which are operated by coins, credit cards and phonecards are available throughout both terminals

There are good facilities for people travelling who have a disability.  There are plenty of help points on the terminal forecourt with telephone so that you can request help or a wheelchair push, help with baggage etc.

Internet Facilities at London Gatwick Airport

If you need to use the internet, the whole of the airport is Wi Fi (wireless) accessible, that is if your laptop is wireless adaptable. 

There is an internet Cafe (Internet Exchange) in the South Terminal which is open 24 hours/7 days. In the North Terminal once through security you will find Spectrum Interactive who have two locations with fixed terminals which take payment with credit card, pound or Euro coins

For medical assistance and travel immunisation you can contact Ashdown House, which is next to the South terminal building. Telephone 0044 (0)1293 507400.

If you have a medical emergency dial 222 from any of the airport telephones. The Police telephone number is 08456 60 70 999.

Guide Dogs and Pets at London Gatwick Airport

Guide dogs and hearing assistance dogs are the only pets allowed into the airport. 

If you wish to fly your pet in or out of the UK, then you will need to check which airline can transport animals and that your pet has the correct vaccinations and passport to remove the need for them to spend six months in quarantine.
