London Luton Airport Information
Smoking is not permitted anywhere at London Luton Airport except in the designated area which is outside the front entrance of the terminal building. There is no designated smoking area after Security.
Children's Facilities at London Luton Airport
Special babycare rooms equipped with changing tables, nappy dispensers and other essential equipment are available to provide comfort and privacy for passengers travelling with young babies.
Disabled Facilities at London Luton Airport
At London Luton Airport access to the terminal building is via revolving doors, which can be slowed down by use of a press button. There are also 2 "accessible" doors, ideal for customers with an assistance dog.
Disabled customers requiring assistance are requested to use one of the Special Assistance telephones sited in and around the terminal building. Free assistance can be provided to the check-in desk or from arrivals to the Short Term Car Park, terminal bus stops or taxi rank.
Lowered Information units for wheelchair users are also sited in various areas around the terminal building. Many telephones offer a number keypad and a touch screen. In addition there is Internet access and a facsimile facility. There are also lowered phones for wheelchair users in each phone bay.
There are two wheelchair collection points within the main concourse, one at the side of the entrance doors and one at the side of the check-in desks. There is no charge for the use of these wheelchairs. In this area there is also a Special Assistance Waiting area. This is an ideal spot to leave disabled passengers in comfort while parking or collecting the car.
Induction loops have been installed at many of the customer counters including the check-in desks and customer services desks. There are also accessible toilets for disabled customers in all areas.

Money Changing Facilities at London Luton Airport
There are four Bureaux de Change outlets at Luton airport - two from ICE (International Currency Exchange, telephone: +44 (0)1582 730 700) and two from Travelex (telephone: +44 (0)1582 687 000). Two are in the departures area (one ICE and one Travelex), one in the arrivals area (Travelex) and one in departures after security (ICE). Travelex offers currency exchange, BT Phonecards and travel insurance. Open 07:00 - 03:00
