Manchester Airport offers excellent facilities for its passengers.

flying from Manchester Airport.
Children's Facilities at Manchester Airport
Baby changing facilities are situated nearby or inside the ladies toilets in all three terminals.
There is a playcare centre located in the departure lounge of Terminal 1. It is open 24 hours - 7 days a week. There is a TV located in this area. There is no organised supervision available so parents must accompany their children at all times.
Children are also able to colour and play at Art Desks which are situated in most of the eating areas.
Disabled Facilities at Manchester Airport
Those with disabilities are well served, with accessible toilets provided, as well as hearing loops and telephones accessible to wheelchair users. There is also a TDD payphone available in Terminal 1 International Arrivals.
Those who need special assistance should advise their airline in advance of arrival.
There are signs to assist passengers who are deaf and many of the Manchester Airport staff are sign language trained.
Marked parking bays are available in the three short stay car parks. If you require transport to take you to the aircraft (gate) you can organise this through either your airline (which is preferable), or contact the information desk when you arrive at the airport - allow enough time to organise this.
There are many lifts and ramps throughout the airport for wheel chair access. Public telephones throughout are accessible from a wheelchair.
Internet Facilities at Manchester Airport
Wireless (Wi-Fi) is available via your Laptop from seating areas across all three terminals and cafes. T-Mobile are the service providers. The cost is around .75p (inc VAT) for around 10 minutes.

Medical Facilities at Manchester Airport
There is a NHS walk-in centre based in Terminal 1 at the airport. A NHS nurse at the centre can deal with consultations (to those eligible), health advice and information and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries.
The nurse cannot prescribe drug etc or give vaccinations.
Opening times are 07:00-22:00/7 days a week. If you require attendance outsider of these hours then the emergency nursing office will provide first aid services.

There is also an Occupational Health Unit in Terminal 1 which provides advice and vaccinations for travellers (appointment only). Charges apply for this service.

Money Changing Facilities at Manchester Airport
There are plenty of places to exchange currency within the airport complex - Travelex, Bureau de Change desks and cash dispenser points -
Terminal 1
There are four exchange shops in departures
-Two Bureau de Change shops
A Currency Exchange and a Travelex shop. There is also a banking
service provided by the Co-op Bank. Cash dispensers are located
in the arrivals area.
Terminal 2
There is a Travelex Bureau de Change in departures next to Millie's
Cookies and cash dispensers which accept most cards next to the
Travelex Bureau.
In arrivals there is a Travelex Bureau de Change near to the left luggage area and cash dispensers close by which take most cards.
Terminal 3
In departures there is a Travelex Bureau de Change which is next
to boots and in arrivals in the baggage reclaim area there is a
Travelex and Currency Express.
Pets travelling from Manchester Airport
If you wish to fly your pet in or out of the UK, then you will need to check that your pet has the correct vaccinations and passport.
A service operates from the airport in Building number 300 based in the World Freight Terminal. This is the Pet Travel Scheme (PETS) and is run by Pets On Jets.
If your pet qualifies then it will remove the need for them to spend six months in quarantine.
