Manchester Airport Luggage

If you have lost property within one of the terminal buildings or anywhere else on the airport complex (this does not include anything you have left on the aeroplane), you will need to contact one of the Lost & Found Property offices. These are in the arrivals hall in Terminals 1 and 2. For Terminal 3 use the Terminal 1 facility.

If you have left luggage or any other items on the aeroplane then you need to contact your airline as detailed below.

The offices are open every day from 8 am until 8 pm. Note that they will charge you £5 to retrieve your lost item.

IMPORTANT Do not leave any luggage or bags unattended as it will be taken away by security and could be destroyed.

Terminal 1 - on the arrivals level (ground floor) towards the Airtours check-in desks. They also deal with lost property. Opening hours are 06:00 to 22:00. They charge £5 per item for each 24 hours of storage. Contact: 0044 (0)161 489 3463

Terminal 2 - on the arrivals level (ground floor). Luggage can be left, but at the attendant´s discretion only. For information contact: 0044 (0)161 489 6031

Terminal 3 - unfortunately there is no facility in this terminal. Use the facility in Terminal 1 which is a short walk away.

Both Terminals are open from 8:00 until 22:00 Monday to Saturday and 8:00 am until 16:00 on Sundays. The charge for storage is £5 per item for each 24 hours of storage

If your luggage does not arrive/appear on the baggage reclaim belt do not leave the baggage reclaim area and contact the ground handling agency for your airline. Below are ther contact numbers of the ground handling agencies contracted by the airlines.
