Newcastle Airport Buses

The bus connections from and to the airport are limited, but there is a good service with the metro that will take you directly into the Central Railway Station, where you can make good onward connections.

Listed  below are the bus services available:

Services 76 76A 77 77A 78 78E 79 79A: Run from the city centre (Eldon Square Bus Concourse) to the Airport every 20 mins during the day and less often in the evenings: Monday to Saturday 06:07- 23:00 from Eldon Square. Sunday 08:30-18:30. Tickets cost £1.60 from central Newcastle. Journey time 25 mins.

Service 101: Serves Blyth & Cramlington. Mon-Sat: 04:00-21:00 from Blyth.  Sunday: 08:00-21:00.  From Cramlington Mon-Sat: 04:21-21:21. Sunday: 08:21-21:21. Cost £1.90 from Cramlington & £2.30 from Blyth.

Service 102: Serves the Metro Shopping Centre and western Newcastle upon Tyne: From Metro Centre Mon-Sat: 09:49, 11:19, 12:49 & 141:9. From the airport: 09:10 , 10:40, 12:10 & 13:40. Cost £1.80.
