Newquay international Airport is located a few kilometres northeast Newquay based on RAF St Mawgan. Follow signs from the A3059. It is the main airport serving Cornwall and is close to attractions including The Eden Project and National Maritime Museum.

Newquay Airport is known to be one of the fastest growing regional airports in the UK and has added a new extension that has increased the terminal size by 20%: allowing the airport to handle as many as 450,000 passengers a year.

In 2006 the airport introduced a £5 per passenger airport development fee, payable by all departing passengers via an ATM machine before passing security. This resulted in Monarch dropping its Malaga route and Ryanair reducing the amount of flights from 2 to 1 per day.

You can get to and from Newquay Airport by a variety of methods including Private Newquay Airport Transfers. With a Private Transfer you would be met in the arrivals hall by your own driver who will then take you on to your chosen destination.

Bus services to the airport are operated by Summercourt Travel and Western Greyhound.  Summercourt Travel offer a service every 30 minutes to the airport.  You can find further information on bus routes and timetables in our guide to Newquay Airport buses

There is no rail connection at the airport, but there are good transport services to Newquay Railway Station from there you can take a bus or a taxi to the airport.Rail services are operated by Virgin Trains and Great Western and Wales and West trains. There are two parking options at the airport.  Both car parks are adjacent to the terminal building.  In total there are just over 450 parking spaces and 10 allocated for disabled parking near to the terminal entrance in car park A.  You cannot pre book any parking. The Terminal Building facilities at Newquay Airport are very limited, hence the plans for development of future services.  So don't expect to be able to buy your last minute holiday goods at the airport, and if there are any delays there isn't much to keep you or your children occupied.

In the departures lounge you can also buy newspapers, books etc and some souvenirs.  An ATM cash dispenser is situated here and there is internet access.

In the check in area there is a small cafe area where you can buy snacks and there is a good view of the runway from here.  Internet access is available in this area.

Once through to the departures lounge you will find the Lanherne Cafe Bar which serves snacks, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks, including beers and wines. 

If you have lost luggage within the terminal building, contact the Information Desk.  However, if your luggage has failed to arrive on the baggage reclaim belt, you will need to contact the airline you have travelled with.  If this happens do not leave the baggage reclaims area until you have spoken to either an airline representative or a member of the airport staff.

Storage facilities for luggage or any other items is not available at the airport.
