There are several excellent bus services that operate between the city centre and the Southampton Airport.

First Southampton Bus 12: Southampton Airport - Mansbridge - Chartwell Green - Cat & Mouse - Bitterne - Northam - Southampton City Centre (Pound Tree Rd)

Timings: Buses leave the airport Monday-Saturday at 07:02, 07:58, 09:02 then hourly until 16:02, 17:04 & 18:08. There is no Sunday Service.

Solent Blue Line Buses 9 & 9A: Eastleigh - Southampton Airport - Hedge End - Bursledon Tesco - Route then splits: 9: Sholing - Woolston - Southampton City Centre. 9A: Nettley & Hamble.

Timings: Bus 9 leaves the airport for the City Monday-Friday at 06:32, 07:49, 09:13 then every hour until 14:13, 15:18, 16:18, 17:28, 18:22, 19:22, 20:22, 21:22 & 23:22 (Fridays & Saturdays only). Saturdays: 06:57, 08:02 then as Monday-Friday. Sundays: 09:22, 11:22, 13:22, 14:22, 15:22 & 17:22.

Bus 9A leaves the airport for the City Monday-Saturdayat 09:43 then every hour until 15:43, 17:03, 18:03, 20:22 & 22:22. Sundays: 10:22, 12:22, 14:22 & 16:22.

UniLink U1 Bus: Airport - Wessex Lane Halls - Highfield Interchange - Portswood Junction - New College/The Avenue - Civic Centre (Marlands) - Central Station - west Quay - High St/Town Quay - Dock Gate 4.

Timings: Buses leave the airport Moday-Friday every 20 mins 06:00-23:15. Saturdays every 30 mins 06:50-23:15. Sundays every 30 mins 07:50-22:45.
